RAGT Seeds UK
Bridge have completed another turnkey Venlo glasshouse project for RAGT Seeds UK. Founded in 1919, RAGT seeds are pioneers in developing seed varieties with their scientists and researchers typically registering more than 200 new varieties across 24 different crop species each year.
This 172.8m2 glasshouse project is an extension to an existing house featuring horizontal pull-wire 5220 FR Harmony Revolux Svensson Climate Screens, with additional wall fans, perimeter heating and mounted air heaters for additional climate control.
The recent glasshouse project for RAGT seeds also featured some modifications to their heating and irrigation in order to achieve optimal performance within the greenhouse climate. The modifications included a galvanised tube perimeter heating system, along with 2 x suspended air heaters mounted horizontally to create good air circulation throughout the zone.
