Bridge Greenhouses, specialists in constructing and equipping commercial greenhouses, are gearing up for a busy September as they exhibit at both the Four Oaks Trade Show and CEUG Conference.

The UK’s leading international exhibition on commercial horticulture, Four Oaks Trade Show, is hosting its 52nd event on the 3rd to 4th September.

Taking place over the same days, the annual Controlled Environment Users Group (CEUG) meeting will take place at NIAB Cambridge and will be centred around ‘Sustainability through Innovation’.

“2024 has been a busy year for us and we’re excited to attend yet more events such as Four Oaks and CEUG. We look forward to exhibiting at both events as it’s always fantastic to connect with fellow innovators and industry-leaders in the world of horticulture” says David Summerfield, Director of Bridge Greenhouses.

As experts in horticulture and growing in a controlled environment, Bridge Greenhouses will be showcasing their cutting-edge solutions in greenhouse growing, renewable energy, vertical farming and more.

Founded in 1983, Bridge Greenhouses has been at the forefront of UK glasshouses for four decades, with extensive experience in constructing environmental controlled structures used for edible fruit and veg, medicinal plants, flowers, vertical farms and more.

“Events like these are crucial for bringing together forward-thinking minds to share insights, ideas and technology. As greenhouse specialists, we hope to engage in insightful discussions regarding the future of horticulture and inspire other growers with our solutions that produce high yield crops under sustainable practices” adds David.

Now in its 52nd year, the Four Oaks Trade Show was established to create a unique space for horticultural businesses, specialists and enthusiasts from around the world to network, engage in discussions and work together.

Attendees of Four Oaks will be able to browse over 600 stands displaying beautiful plants, product launches, services and innovations in technology.

First held in 1966, the CEUG conference is an annual meeting of the horticultural industry’s brightest minds to share their findings in plant research. The event lasts two days and participants can attend presentations, Q&A panels, facility tours and browse the exhibiting trade stands.

With sustainability the focus of this year’s event, exhibitors such as Bridge Greenhouses will be showing how greenhouses and environmental control technology can help reduce carbon emissions in crop growing.

“As climate change concerns rise, we all need to do our part to drive plant and food production towards more sustainable practices. At these events, we aim to not just showcase our greenhouse products, but also share our ideas and learn from our industry peers to ensure that we’re all on the right path towards greener growing” concludes David.
