Specialists in constructing and equipping commercial greenhouses, Bridge Greenhouses, have announced they will be exhibiting at the 2024 Fruit Focus event.

The UK’s premier technical event for the fruit industry is being held at the NIAB agricultural research institute in East Malling on 10th July.

Bridge Greenhouses will be exhibiting alongside their partner, Vermako, to feature their innovations in polyhouse designs and share their expertise with horticultural peers.

“We are very excited to be exhibiting at Fruit Focus 2024 and the opportunity to connect with fellow innovators and industry-leaders. We’re looking forward to showcasing the capabilities of the Vermako Polyhouse and how it can ensure growers achieve the ideal growing environment for their crops” says David Summerfield, Director of Bridge Greenhouses.

Founded in 1983, Bridge Greenhouses has been at the forefront of the UK glasshouses for four decades, with extensive experience of constructing commercial greenhouses used for edible fruit and veg, medicinal plants, plant nurseries and flowers.

Through their partnership with Vermako, Bridge Greenhouses provide turnkey polyhouses with bespoke designs that can be specifically tailored to ensure a successful crop cultivation for both large and small scale operations.

“Events like Fruit Focus are crucial for bringing together the industry’s leading innovators to share insights, ideas and technology. As greenhouse specialists, we hope to inspire growers within the fruit industry with solutions which help them achieve bigger and better crops” adds David.

The annual Fruit Focus event was established to create a unique opportunity to share the latest technologies and industry developments within the fresh fruits and wine making/viticulture sectors. Attendees can network with fellow producers, as well as browsing the many products and presentations on show.

Fruit Focus 2024’s key topic this year is robotics for fruit growers, with exhibits and demonstrations on how autonomous equipment can increase farming productivity.

Hosted at NIAB, Fruit Focus attendees can also take a guided tour of NIAB’s cutting-edge fruit research facilities with presentations on the latest innovations in pest control and water efficiency.

Bridge Greenhouses invites attendees to visit them at stand 700a to discover how they can maximise efficiency and crop yield with a Vermako Polyhouse. Look out for the distinctive Vermako truck for an exciting and informative showcase of their latest innovations.
